Earn a $1000 Scholarship from St. Louis District Dairy Council St. Louis District Dairy Council is offering two educational awards of $1000 each. Qualified applicants include dairy producers whose check-off funding is directed to St. Louis District Dairy Council, and spouses and children. Eligibility includes one award per family per year. A former applicant may reapply in subsequent years, providing he or she remains eligible. This scholarship will not be awarded to the same applicant more than two times. |
- Must be a high school graduate or graduating in 2018
- Must be accepted or enrolled for full-time or part-time study in any degree program at an accredited college, university or community college
- Must be a resident of Illinois or Missouri and a dairy producer whose check-off funding is directed to St. Louis District Dairy Council
- Completed application form
- Official high school transcript, if applicable
- Official college or community college transcript
- Personal statement of 500 words maximum
- Additional essay of 250 words maximum explaining how dairy farming has impacted personal skills and character
- Completed Activities Template (Template document provided by IAA Foundation)

The application period is December 1, 2017 through February 1, 2018. Completed applications must be submitted electronically on or before February 1, 2018.
