Healthy Teeth, Healthy Me

St. Louis District Dairy Council is excited to help school nurses reach students with tips on building strong, healthy teeth for a lifetime. Every year in February, in celebration of Children's Dental Health Month, we offer a Healthy Teeth, Healthy Me kit for school nurses.  Typcically this kit incudes items for the office, for the nurse, and for students!

If you would like to order this resource please complete the below form. Please note that kits are typically mailed in January and are best suited for elementary school students.  Resources are limited and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

Childhood is the most important time to build strong bones and teeth. If kids don't get the nutrients they need, they put their current and future dental health at risk.

The nutrients found in dairy foods, such as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and vitamin D, support the development of healthy teeth and oral tissue. Three servings every day of dairy plus plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains set the stage for healthy smiles.
