Pizza Fondue
Pizza Fondue
Serving Size: 1/2 cup; Makes: 8 Servings
Ingredients:
- 28 oz. pizza sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1/2 cup (about 2 ounces) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup (about 4 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
- Dippers such as cubes of crusty French or Italian Bread or pizza toppings
Directions:
1. Combine pizza sauce, minced garlic, basil and oregano in a pot. Cook over medium heat until hot, but not boiling.
2. Add parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Stir often until melted.
3. Transfer into large serving dish or fondue pot and serve immediately with bread sticks, crusty French or Italian bread, or other pizza toppings such as peppers, olives, and tomatoes.
