White Pizza
Yield: 8 Slices; Serving Size: 1 Slice
Ingredients
- Cooking spray
- 16 oz ready-made pizza dough
- 1 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 7 fresh basil leaves, chopped in strips
- 3 Tablespoons Asiago Cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a large pizza pan with cooking spray. Remove pizza dough from the refrigerator.
- Mix ricotta cheese, minced garlic, red pepper flakes and Italian seasoning. Set aside.
- Place pizza dough on baking sheet and spread with your fingers until dough is ¼ inch thick.
- Spread ricotta cheese mixture over dough.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over ricotta mixture. Sprinkle asiago cheese over ricotta cheese.
- Spread fresh basil leave strips around on top of cheese.
- Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown. Let cool for 2 minutes. Slice into eight even slices.
