Job Title: Program Administrator

Immediate Supervisor: Executive Director

Position Description: The Program Administrator will be responsible for administrative tasks and operational support, critical to the efficient functioning of SLDDC’s program operations.  This multifaceted position is ideal for a detailed-oriented, tech-savvy individual who excels in administrative support, project coordination, and internal operations

This is a part-time position for 30 hours per week, with paid holidays, sick and vacation time.  

Key Responsibilities:

·       Coordinate activities that support program initiatives: track metrics, update staff on program status and team goals.

·       Administration of program grants.

·       Serve as the organization representative with outside vendors involved in nutrition education program development and delivery.

·       Coordinate all activities related to the web-based Adopt-A-Calf program.

·       Track and reconcile program-related expenses; monitor program budget.

·       Serve as the primary point of contact for general email inquiries and redirect requests to the appropriate staff.

·       Make website content updates, as needed.

·       Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and program staff, including but not limited to producing program statistics.

·       Help facilitate Board of Directors’ meetings/calls; assemble and disseminate information under the direction of the Executive Director.

·       Make hotel/meal reservations as needed for events/meetings.

·       Track inventory of resources and supplies.  Order, as needed, from vendors.

·       Other duties/projects as assigned.

Key Competencies/Experience

·       Self-directed; strong organizational and multitasking skills

·       Team-oriented approach

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       Ability to gather and analyze program data

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

·       Proficient with technology and web-based platforms

·       A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in administrative support, project management, or nonprofit administration. A background in nutrition is preferred.

·       Must enjoy dairy foods.
