Kelsey Hulcher is a Nutrition Educator for the St. Louis Dairy Council managing 16 Illinois counties and 12 Missouri counties out of the St. Louis office. Kelsey earned a Bachelor Degree of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from The University of Alabama. Following, she completed her dietetic internship with an emphasis in School Nutrition and Education from Marshall University. Kelsey is a registered and licensed dietitian.
Prior to joining SLDDC, Kelsey was a Food Service Director with Valley Park School District. There she created menus, worked on the wellness committee, and supported both the student and staff in providing nutritious meals. In addition, Kelsey worked as a dietitian for the Springfield Public School District #186 located in Springfield, IL. There she acquired an abundance of experience in implementing new recipes following USDA guidelines, as well as providing nutrition education to students, faculty, and cafeteria managers.
Kelsey was born and raised in Springfield, IL. She loves spending time with family and friends. In her free time you will find Kelsey boxing, cooking, or taking a pilates class, as she is always on the go! Kelsey finds the most rewarding part of the job is sharing nutrition education on the benefits of dairy through a vast variety of resources, and of course, being a part of a supportive, fun team at The SLDDC.
