Chocolate Crunch Shake
Makes
1 serving
Ingredients:
2 chocolate cookies, broken into
pieces
2 tablespoons chocolate syrum
2 scoops chocolate ice cream,
softened
1/3 cup milk
Garnishes: whipped cream,
candy sprinkles
Directions:
Place all ingredients except
garnishes in blender.
Cover and blend for 30 seconds
or until smooth. Garnish
blended mixture with whipped
cream and sprinkles.
Pour remaining milk and
coffee into 2 tall glasses.
Seven Layer
Sundae
Makes 1 serving
Ingredients:
1 frozen waffle, toasted
1 scoop chocolate ice cream
1 peanut butter cookie, cut in
half
chocolate topping
candy sprinkles
whipped cream
maraschino cherry
Directions:
Place toasted waffle on
serving dish. Scoop ice
cream onto center of toasted
waffle. Insert cookie
halves at an angle into ice
cream. Top with chocolate
topping, sprinkles and whipped
cream. Garnish with
cherry.
Pretzelicious Ice Cream Pie
Makes
6 to 8 servings
Ingredients:
5 sourdough hard pretzels,
crushed (reserve 1/4 cup for
garnish)
1 cup sugar
1 cup crushed pecans
2 egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 quart vanilla ice cream,
softened
Dessert toppings, any flavor
Whipped cream
Maraschino cherries
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Fahrenheit. Combine
pretzel crumbs, sugar and
pecans; set aside. Beat
egg whites until frothy.
Fold pretzel mixture into egg
whites. Stir in vanilla.
Firmly press mixture into a
well-greased 9-inch pan.
Bake for 10 minutes or until
lightly browned. Cool.
Spoon ice cream into pie crust.
Freeze at least 2 hours or
overnight. Garnish with
topping, whipped cream,
remaining pretzel crumbs and
cherries.
