Bridget Sheehan Named the 2008
Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year
Nutrition Educator Bridget Sheehan (St. Louis office)
was recently named by the Missouri Dietetic Association
(MDA) as the 2008 Young Dietitian of the Year. Bridget
was selected based on her work experience and
demonstrated leadership with the St. Louis Dietetic
Association, as well as her accomplishments in other
professional organizations. The annual award recognizes
the competence and activities of younger dietitians (35
years and younger) in the American Dietetic Association
and encourages their continued participation in
Association affairs. Bridget was presented with a
commemorative plaque at the MDA’s Annual Meeting , held
in Chesterfield, MO in early April.
